San Francisco Captured: Dick Evans
Our good friends and partners at In Transit Images were kind enough to send along this beautiful edition of a newly published monograph by photographer Dick Evans. “San Francisco and The Bay Area – The Haight Ashbury Edition” is a comprehensive portrait of one of the city’s most beloved districts. A bonus to the beautiful images and stunning reproductions is the foreword by San Francisco native and legendary Rolling Stone journalist Ben Fong-Torres.

White Glove Treatment: When opening the original package we received, we were particularly delighted to be presented with a pair of archivist gloves included with the book. Not only did the gloves add a curator’s touch helping preserve the beauty of this edition, but also forced us to slow down our consumption of the images within and more fully appreciate the visual information and stimulation contained on every page.
